Bondo Self-Adhesive Body Patch provides a firm, metal reinforced contour foundation for Bondo body filler and fiberglass resins when applied directly over the patched area. Can be cut with scissors to a custom shape or size.
For use with Bondo and other repair resins where thicker repairs are required.
Repairs cars, boats, campers, trucks, snowmobiles, tanks.....
Can use to bridge open areas .

Woven fiberglass cloth that you have to apply with fiberglass resin.

Used to fix a rust hole in my friends rear quarter panel of his Subaru Legacy; which has a common problem of forming rust just above the wheel well. The mesh product is tacky and sticks easily to bare metal; cutting was easy with tin snips. Make sure to knock down the metal surrounding the hole with a hammer. This allows the mesh to lay level with the rest of the body and will save a lot of time with Bondo and sanding. The mesh holds on to the filler perfectly and I had no issues with sanding down to a smooth surface. I didn't have any issues with exposing the mesh with over sanding. Primer/Paint and 6 months later there is no issues to speak of. The spot looks like factory and it was easy to mold the mesh piece along with the body line.

This worked well to patch a rusted edge on a whell well. I was having a rough time with just cloth because of the arc and inverted nature of the job. A piece of this gave some structure to the patch and the rest went smoothly

Bondo is a trademark name and they put out a good product I've been using there products for years, I've got the product in a very fast time and I've been putting it to good us. It works a fast patch on fiberglass from cars to motorcycle and fiberglass back packs.

When the hole is too large for filling this is a good alternative. Personally I prefer to pop rivet a patch and seal the seams with fiberglass as apposed to just using this and glass but there are areas that are difficult to access like fender wells that this is better suited
