Antique 14kt Yellow Gold & Ruby Screwback Stud Earrings. This is a GORGEOUS pair of Antique Earrings made of 14kt Yellow Gold and bright Red-Pink Rubies. I found these earrings in a dusty Antique Shop and they were so dirty, it was difficult to see what I was getting. I cleaned them up to reveal this lovely pair of Ruby Earrings!
The setting is shaped like a flower and the Ruby stones are a striking color of Red with a shine that makes them catch the light beautifully. The Screwback posts are threaded and are for pierced ears. The backs are a secure Vintage replacement and are only GOLD-FILLED. You could always purchase solid gold threaded replacement backs for these, if you wanted.
The stones measure approximately 3.8mm each and the settings are approximately 8mm. The gold tests as 14kt Solid Yellow Gold and the earrings are possibly marked 14kt, but the marks are so faint, it is difficult to be sure.
