You Frame # Should Start With:  CB72-XXXXXX  or
CB77-XXXXXX
Look for the ( CB72 or CB77 ) in the serial number
1961-1963, first digit in frame
was year of manufacture (i.e. CB72-1XXXX; CB72-2XXXX
or CB77-3XXXXX frames and CB72E-11XXX; CB72E-21XXX or CB77E-31XXXX engines).
In '64, frames and engines both started with 100001 (both six digits). The 1965 models started
with 1000001 (seven digit frame and engine numbers) and continued in that fashion.
