    Description

    This is one vintage, unbuilt model of the fireboat Alert #1100, from the now closed Marine Model Company. The model is quite old, but hasn't had any construction begun, with all the wood pieces and fittings in good condition, see the photos. At 1/8":1' scale, this is a classic, high quality model. We are making this item available "As-Is" simply because it was part of a lot donated to our organization by an expert model shipmaker and we have neither the time nor expertise to go over each model item by item to confirm that every part is present. This model appears to be complete from a cursory inspection. The box is in decent shape given the age, though has had a couple of corners taped.
