Fred Schaffner has been building model ships for 60 years. Many of his ships have been donated or sold to several nautical museums. He has also sold ships through Christie’s auction house Los Angeles. These ships are all handmade from scratch all rigging, masting ,knotting , and framing is handmade. These are all my father ships and he is the builder or co builder of all models listed.
