    Description

    Marvelous handmade SOLID 14K yellow AND white gold (all parts tested for purity) Art Deco Period clip earrings. Early 1900's. The link is a 6 sided honeycomb slinky solid mesh. Almost reptilian. Newer French honeycomb is machine made. These are handmade. It has wonderful fluidity when you move. There are 6 single mine cut diamonds set in the white gold. The fantastic clip-clasp is something to study. It has been fashioned out of a single sheet of 14K gold. It was cut (sawed) into the classic shape, but the tension is not a spring, but part of the original sheet. It is
    quite ingenious
