    Description

    The Thailand 100 Baht banknote was released by the Government of Thailand in 2011 to commemorate the kings 84th birthday. The banknotes obverse displays the kings initial in silver foil circle, Rama IX wearing his uniform, the royal seal, and the Royal Garuda emblem. The reverse of the note features Rama IX with camera and papers, when he visited the Mae Roem Reservoir project. It also depicts Rama IX playing the saxophone, Rama IX planting grass, and four aircrafts executing Super Sandwich cloud-seeding technique. Also portrayed in the note is the Kwai Noi Bamrung Daen Dam located in Phitsanulok Province and Chaipattana Low Speed Surface Aerator. The banknote is 162 x 84 mm in size and bears a solid security thread. It also has a watermark that reflects the royal seal with an electrotype kings initials. This banknote comes in uncirculated condition.
