    Description

    The Thailand 50 Baht banknote was released by the Government of Thailand in 2004. The obverse of the blue banknote features the Royal Garuda emblem, the Chakri Dynasty emblem which depicts a discus and a trident. It also shows a portrait of Bhumibol Adulyadej wearing a uniform. The back of the paper bill displays a globe and a telescope, a table and Rama IV, the Phra Pathom Chedi stupa in Nakhon Pathom, and the Royal Garuda emblem. The banknote measures 144 x 72 mm and has a solid security thread with a demetalized 50 BAHT and Thai text. It also bears a watermark that reflects Rama IX and an electrotype symbol Dok Loi. This Thailand 50 Baht banknote is in uncirculated condition.
