    Description

The Thailand 500 Baht banknote was issued by the Government of Thailand in 2016 to commemorate the queens seventh cycle birthday. The obverse of this purple banknote features the Royal Garuda emblem and Bhumibol Adulyadej wearing the Royal House of Chakri gown. The banknotes reverse depicts the Royal Garuda emblem, the royal family, Queen Sirikit examining Royal Folk Arts and Crafts Center products, a seated Queen Sirikit wearing a Thai Boromphiman costume, a Khon performance, Lygodium products, and Queen Sirikit Cattleya and Queen Sirikit rose flowers. The paper bill is 156 x 72 mm in size and bears a holographic stripe, a 4-mm wide green-to-gold RollingStar Cube windowed security thread with demetalized 500 Thai texts, and a watermark that reflects Rama IX and an electrotype Thai text. This Thailand 500 Baht banknote is in uncirculated condition.
