    Description

    Rare date note issued four days after the king's abdication ultimatum .
    The government refused to comply, and on 14 October 1934  Prajadhipok announced his intention to abdicate unless his requests were met.
    The People's Party rejected the ultimatum, and on 2 March 1935, Prajadhipok abdicated, to be replaced by Ananda Mahidol.
