Gorgeous and very large United Wilson porcelain bowl and metal stand in formal, traditional Asian style.
Marked "1897," however this is a modern, contemporary piece. Exact age is unknown, but it is not antique. 1897 was the year United Wilson was founded. The crazing throughout the piece appears intentional, part of the design, rather than something that occurred naturally over time.
This large, ornate bowl with stand makes an elegant statement, displayed on an entryway table in your home or in any formal, traditional room.
Beautiful birds and other intricate detailing. Lovely gilding and muted shades of red, sapphire blue, and emerald green.
Good used condition, no damage.
