    Description

    This Bluejacket Shipcrafters kit, United States Revenue Cutter Jefferson Davis, circa 1853 is a plank-on-frame model featuring precut bassword frames, close-spaced like the original ship. Also included are a large instruction booklet, ship blueprints, assorted wooden parts, and metal and resin fittings.
    Some very minor construction has already begun, largely on mast cross-breams, see photos. All other fittings are either contained in their original packaging, or accounted for in envelopes.
    This kit was part of a large lot donation to our organization from an expert model ship builder. As a result, while we look over each model before posting, we have neither the time nor the expertise to inventory every single part. It appears in like-new condition, but is being sold As-Is.
