    This 4.75 inch sugar shaker is Japanese as indicated on the bottom. The cobalt scroll decoration along the intersections of the sides are the principal features of the design. On each side is a sprig of pink and yellow flowers. The shaker has crazing in the cream colored sections, including the top. We see an old half cork in the bottom opening, probably the original cork. We used this piece as a hat pin holder. It is especially good for long hat pins. The piece is 2.5 inches on each side. The top section is 2 inches.
