    AUCTION DESCRIPTION:
“Virginia Jaycee Cardinal-Dogwood Flower State Outlines Trade Pins"
Complete Set of Three (3) and
    Earlier Cardinal-Dogwood Branch & Flowers.”
    Circa: 1974, 1977,1978, 1979
I spent 10 years with the Missouri Jaycees and attended several Jaycees National Conventions as well as local and state activities all over the nation.
During this time period I acquired hundreds of local, regional, state trading pins, medallions, and patches.
Iwill be selling them on Ebay over the next few months as time allows.
If you are looking for older pins, feel free to contact me via any auction and if I have a desired pin, pins, or patches I will list them much sooner.
Most of the pins available are in mint condition unless noted.
This auction is for a three (3) pins with matching themes in three (3) different color combinations and one (1) older pin representing Virginia’s Dogwood State Flower and the Red Cardinal State bird.
The Northern Red Cardinal was adopted as the Virginia State bird in 1950.
The three piece set ran for only three consecutive years and the only things that changed were the state outline enamels and the last state outline changed the flowers from white dogwood to pink. The dogwood flower was the Virginia state flower from 1918 until present. This set was difficult to obtain and is still a highly collectible set for Jaycees trying to complete memorabilia sets.
