Vtg 1926 Souvenir Cover From Sesquicentennial International Exposition, Brewer
This is an image by Dan Smith, published by Elliott Brewter and used as a souvenir booklet cover for the 1926 Sesquicentennial (1776-1926) International Exposition in Philidelphia.  The was a world's fair celebration of the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.  It is a striking image of Lady Liberty and the US Flag.  The Liberty Bell at the bottom has stars coming out that become Lady Liberty's skirt.  Independence Hall is in the background.  It has "The Voice of the Liberty Bell" under the picture and has "Elliott Brewer" at the left and "Dan Smith" at the lower right.
Condition:  It is a stunning, brightly colored image.  The cover is delicate with a horizontal crease that shows on the back more than the front.   This cover has some tanning and a little soiling. It must have been resized for a frame - it is 9.5" x 13" and the original size was 14.5" long, so the printing about the exposition is missing from the bottom.  There is damage at the edges, especially the bottom left, with a 1/2" tear at the top, a "C" shaped tear near the top, and and two pin holes at the top.  Please see the photos.
