Wood Ship Kit#2107 1/8" Scale Frigate "ESSEX" by Model Shipways Co. This is a solid wood model of the frigate "ESSEX" by Model Shipwys Co. kit  #2107 that I bought from James Bliss Marine Co. in February 1980 41 years ago (I found the invoice). The scale is 1/8" and when built will be 30 1/2" long and 19" high. It is a good size kit and heavy too. The kit is as is, you get everything in the photos. I  believe the kit is complete but have not inventoried it. Most of the fittings are in small wax paper type bags that you can't see thru & some of the cannon hatches are loose in the box. All the wax paper type bags are sealed and I am not going to open them. You will get all the bags and wire and fittings pictured. All the plans, instructions, parts list, detail plans, masts, spars, scored decking, rigging plan, belaying pin location plan, everything pictured will come to you just as it came to me all those years ago.
