    Description

    This is an original wool or felt Private's patch for a member of the 141st Aero Pursuit (Fighter) Squadron. They were an American Expeditionary Force (AEF) unit, first in England for training then to France where they flew their first patrol on 23 October 1918. Entering late in the war they had two confirmed aircraft kills and several balloon kills. They were demobilized on 19 July 1919.
