    Description

    HERE ARE TWO WWI PHOTOS. THE ONE ONE WITH THE MAN AND WIFE WAS FROM MICHIGAN AND WAS A CAPTAIN IN THE U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS.  FROM HIS FATHERS OBIT AND FAMILY HISTORY: A few years after WWI, in which he served as a captain in the Corps of Engineers. HIS FATHER WAS THE MAYOR OF SAULTE SAINTE MARIE, MICHIGAN IN THE VERY EARLY 1900'S. THE LADY IN THE PHOTO IS MOST LIKELY HIS WIFE. THIS ONE MEASURES 3 1/2" X 5 1/2" AND HAS A TRAR YOU CAN SEE THE TAPE REPAIR IN THE BACK SCAN. THE OTHER PHOTO SHOWS AN OFFICER AND SEVERAL MEN ONE IS WEARING A TOP HAT, MUST BE POLITICIANS AT THE TIME. THIS ONE MEASURES ABOUT  3 1/4" X 5 1/4"AND IS PRINTED ON HEAVIER STOCK SIMILAR TO A POSTCARD. IT HAS A FEW SPOTS OF BLACK FROM A SCRAPBOOK ON THE BACK AND A BUMPED UPPER LEFT CORNER. NO ID ON THIS ONE.
